In the United Kingdom and the Gambling Commission regulator has launched an official investigation into Genesis Global Limited concerning unspecified allegations that the online casino operator may have breached the terms of its license.
The authority used an official Monday press release to state that the examination is being carried out under section 116 of the Gambling Act, which requires such an action to be conducted should an operator be suspected of being ‘unsuitable to carry out licensed activities’ due to, among other things, having any association with individuals possessing a criminal conviction.
